Day 63 of 100 prophecies fulfilled by Jesus – be accused by false witnesses
Accused by false witnesses
Ps. 27:12 – Do not deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence.
Ps. 35:11 – Malicious witnesses rise up; They ask me of things that I do not know.
Mat. 26:60-61 – They did not find any, even though many false witnesses came forward. But later on two came forward, 61 and said, “This man stated, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and to rebuild it in three days.’”
Mark 14:55-61 – Now the chief priests and the whole Council kept trying to obtain testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, and they were not finding any. 56 For many were giving false testimony against Him, but their testimony was not consistent. 57 Some stood up and began to give false testimony against Him, saying, 58 “We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.’” 59 Not even in this respect was their testimony consistent. 60 The high priest stood up and came forward and questioned Jesus, saying, “Do You not answer? What is it that these men are testifying against You?” 61 But He kept silent and did not answer. Again the high priest was questioning Him, and saying to Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?”

John 19:23-24 – Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His outer garments and made four parts, a part to every soldier and also the tunic; now the tunic was seamless, woven in one piece. 24 So they said to one another, “Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, to decide whose it shall be”; this was to fulfill the Scripture: “They divided My outer garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.”

Far from my deliverance are the words of my groaning.

Mark 15:34 – At the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
Day 52 of 100 prophecies fulfilled by Jesus -Jesus was the Passover lamb
The full title for today’s post was supposed to be “The Passover male lamb, without blemish, slain with blood applied as protection from judgment” , but with only 75 characters for the title, it would not fit! But one thing that does fit is this – Jesus blood paid it all, and protects us from the judgment and condemnation of Hell.
Day 48 of 100 prophecies fulfilled by Jesus – A New Priesthood Established
Zech. 3:8 – Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee; for they are men that are a sign: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch
1 Pet. 2:5,9 – ye also, as living stones, are built up a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.; 9 – But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
Rev. 1:6 – and he made us to be a kingdom, to be priests unto his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Rev. 5:10 – and madest them to be unto our God a kingdom and priests, and they reign upon the earth.
Day 47 of 100 prophecies – God shall dwell among His people
God shall dwell among His people –
Zech. 2:10-13 – Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith Jehovah. 11 And many nations shall join themselves to Jehovah in that day and shall be my people, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto thee. 12 And Jehovah shall inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and shall yet choose Jerusalem. 13 Be silent, all flesh, before Jehovah; for he is waked up out of his holy habitation.
John 1:14 – And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.
Rev. 21:3 – And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God:
Day 42 of 100 prophecies – “A priest forever in the order of Melchizedek”
the order of Melchizedek
- Ps. 110:4 – The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”
- Heb. 5:1-6 – Every high priest chosen from among mortals is put in charge of things pertaining to God on their behalf, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. 2 He is able to deal gently with the ignorant and wayward, since he himself is subject to weakness; 3 and because of this he must offer sacrifice for his own sins as well as for those of the people. 4 And one does not presume to take this honor but takes it only when called by God, just as Aaron was.
5 So also Christ did not glorify himself in becoming a high priest, but was appointed by the one who said to him, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”; 6 as he says also in another place, “You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.”
- Heb. 6:20 – 20 where Jesus, a forerunner on our behalf, has entered, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
- 7:15-17 – It is even more obvious when another priest arises, resembling Melchizedek, 16 one who has become a priest, not through a legal requirement concerning physical descent, but through the power of an indestructible life. 17 For it is attested of him,
“You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.” 18 There is, on the one hand, the abrogation of an earlier commandment because it was weak and ineffectual 19 (for the law made nothing perfect); there is, on the other hand, the introduction of a better hope, through which we approach God. 20 This was confirmed with an oath; for others who became priests took their office without an oath,
