Prayers for tomorrow

Be buried with the rich
Spread the love

Please pray for tomorrow’s Bible study at the Pearl Senior Center. We meet at 8:00 a.m CST. Karen is leading this (good job, Babe), and I am there as pastor to support her and keep the conversation focused. We want no distractions, great discussion, and tremendous growth in the Lord. This is what the Lord has given us to this point. Thank you for your prayers!!!

  1. I’m a little late seeing this, but I pray God worked mightily through Karen at the Bible study. And as to keeping a Bible study group on topic, sometimes a challenge. So easy for one thing to lead to another. I pray the Holy Spirit moved in the group and that all went according to His will.

    1. Oh yes, the Holy Spirit did move, and Karen and I together were able to get or bring things back on point. The discussion was on the interaction between Mary, Martha, and Jesus at the time Jesus was setting the stage so He could raise Lazarus from the dead. Very dramatic/true story, and great discussion. The man who got us off last week was there, but we were ready for him this time. It was much better this week. I gave him (Ion) my e-mail address so we could share ideas with each other outside of class and try to get/keep things on the topic during the Bible studies. Thank you, as always, for your prayers and support, and for all who read these comments. God is good to His people as we follow His lead.
