The song “Jesus Paid it All” is a hymn to honor what Jesus did for us on the cross. As we continue our series on Worship, let us focus our attention on worshipping the King, on worshipping King Jesus.

Here are the lyrics, some of which I have not heard.

Lyrics of “Jesus Paid It All”

  1. I hear the Savior say,
    “Thy strength indeed is small;
    Child of weakness, watch and pray,
    Find in Me thine all in all.”

    • Refrain:
      Jesus paid it all,
      All to Him I owe;
      Sin had left a crimson stain,
      He washed it white as snow.
  2. For nothing good have I
    Whereby Thy grace to claim;
    I’ll wash my garments white
    In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb.
  3. And now complete in Him,
    My robe, His righteousness,
    Close sheltered ’neath His side,
    I am divinely blest.
  4. Lord, now indeed I find
    Thy pow’r, and Thine alone,
    Can change the *leper’s spots [*leopard’s]
    And melt the heart of stone.
  5. When from my dying bed
    My ransomed soul shall rise,
    “Jesus died my soul to save,”
    Shall rend the vaulted skies.
  6. And when before the throne
    I stand in Him complete,
    I’ll lay my trophies down,
    All down at Jesus’ feet.

  1. Yes. Trust and obey! That’s it…a song and good, sound advice. I’m the case of both examples above what God told me was it is all about obedience…the why doesn’t matter.

  2. What a great worship anthem. I have been talking with God a lot about how I can be more pleasing to Him at this stage of my life. He has brought me many signs that worship, trust and seeking Him in all things…even the very small is this seniors path to greater holiness.
    For instance, reading about Adam and Eve’s disobedience (and how that applies to me.) And then listening to DAB Exodus…all the instructions about how everything should be made…and I kept wondering why…obedience of course.
