This is a discussion question on Hebrews 7:25 – Intercession

Hebrews 7:25 “Therefore He is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through Him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.”

What does Jesus’ intercession mean to you? I don’t know what all that means, but I do know it will last forever and that Jesus is able to save me. That’s a very good thing!

  1. I think this verse points out that Jesus paid for our sins, once and for all, and by His death and resurrection, He has saved us. We are Human, sinners and unable to keep the law, so God sent a pure and unblemished sacrifice to die in our place and raised Him so He could forever intercede for us. As He was fully God and fully Human, He can understand our weakness in a very personal way. Our way to God is through Him, so in that way, similar to John 3:16. We receive salvation through belief in Him. Jesus, I trust in Youđź’™
