Hands and feet pierced

It is frustrating when people don’t communicate with us – very frustrating! However, that is not the case with communicating with God. That’s because Jesus is our intercessor, our great High Priest! Here are two scriptures that affirm this truth.

Hebrews 4:14-16 King James Version (KJV)

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Just to keep you informed:

This will not affect current users, or at least it shouldn’t, but for security reasons, I need to change the “anyone can register” option. I have had this option checked for convenience and simplicity sake, but a couple of “auto-bots” or fake users tried to register on this site. When I looked up the e-mail addresses, both of them were from a foreign country, and they didn’t fill out a user profile or biographical information. As I have said from the beginning, and continue to say, I will keep my people on this site safe, to the best of my ability.

From now on, people will need to contact me for permission to join the site. Thank you for your prayers for the site, it’s members, content, effectiveness, and security. God’s will be done with Pastor John’s Senior Moments and in each of our lives.

Welcome to our new site member, Carolyn. She joined last night after hearing the concert last night at Park Place Baptist Church. I pray that she is blessed by the activity and comments on this site, as I would pray that for all site members and visitors.

Have a peaceful, positive, healthy weekend. Thanks for the prayers for the site and for all site members.

Blessings,
Pastor John

I am requesting strong, fervent, Spirit-led prayers for site member Sophie, her daughter, and her husband, who are all sick. She needs lots of people holding up her arms to get through this battle of sickness, disease, and struggle against the enemy of their souls. In Jesus’ name, I am praying for healing, power, and peace and complete restoration for this entire family. Please join me in this prayer for divine intervention and healing. Thank you for your prayers.

For those who were praying for Park Place tonight (Thursday) with the Classic Quartet, the event went really well. There were 77 people there who enjoyed the quartet. I sang two songs – Healing Prayer, and No Hiding Place, with My Tribute (by Andrea Crouch). I could tell that people were praying and all the music touched a lot of hearts. I am grateful we had the opportunity to do this for them.

Continued prayers for our car to be fixed quickly and for the body shop to communicate, and for us to know what is going on. I am not good at the waiting / don’t know what’s going on game. Parts of this are very frustrating.

Still, God continues to provide and protect, so I want to give Him credit for being so faithful.

In the Bible study, we will be finishing up John 11, the story of Lazarus being raised from the dead.

Thank you for your prayers!

Pastor John
